During our fun filled story time led by our Child Development Specialist, children 0-5 develop early literacy skills through culturally appropriate books, movement, letter recognition, and music. Our Manchester, Central, and Huntington Park WIC Offices host story time once a month. After Story Time, the Child Development Specialists discuss with families the significance of reading, provide fun facts about language and literacy development, as well as refer them to their local library for continued reading at home. All children take away fun memories and a book!
